Campus History:

Centura College first began training individuals for new careers in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1977, and over the years, it continued to expand its training options and campus locations. In 2003, Centura began offering 100% of online learning as a branch of the Virginia Beach campus, to help meet the demands of students’ busy jobs and families.

Programs Available:
Centura College’s Online campus offers instructor-facilitated training 24/7 for careers in health care, business and computers.

Bachelor of Science in Business:
If you already have an associate degree from most business or professional degree programs, you can obtain your bachelor of science degree in business in as little as 15 months with Centura’s Baccalaureate Completion Degree. You can choose from four areas of concentration:

  • Concentration in Management
  • Concentration in Allied Health Management
  • Concentration in Hospitality
  • Concentration in Accounting

Associate of Occupational Science Degree in Medical Assisting:
The medical assisting AOS degree offers a concentration in management. Gain the office and management skills needed to meet the demands of the current and emerging health care system. Full-time students can graduate in 15 months.

Associate of Occupational Science Degree in Computer Network Management:
This degree is designed to help you gain the skills and knowledge to increase your workplace competence and advantage in administering computer networks. Full-time students can graduate in 15 months.

Associate of Occupational Science Degree in Criminal Justice:
The criminal justice training provides you with a solid foundation and breadth of understanding in the areas of law, courts, corrections, law enforcement and security. Full-time students can graduate in only 15 months.

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management:
The aviation maintenance management training provides you with a solid foundation and breadth of understanding of business skills, management techniques and administrative practices associated with the technical aviation environment. Full-time students can graduate in only 15 months.
