Centura College first began training individuals for new careers in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1977, and over the years, it continued to expand its training options and campus locations. In 1992, our parent company, Employment Services, Inc., opened its first school in the Greater Richmond area. Called Beta Tech, this campus was located in Petersburg. Three years later, it was relocated to the Arboretum building in Richmond, and in 1998, it moved again to an expanded facility on Midlothian Turnpike, where it is today. In 2008, the school’s name was changed to Centura College.
Centura College’s south-side Richmond-area campus offers training for careers in health care.
