A Day for Hugs & Unity
No matter the day or reason, everyone can use a hug! On November 18, following the Paris attacks and other events across the world, our Centura Norfolk campus decided to spread some much needed love and give out some hugs of encouragement . A campus-wide group hug was held in the front parking lot not only to spread lots of smiles, but also to show the community that we stand together as a school. And as the sadness faded away, our spirits rose and everyone chanted, “Let us hug, not hate. Love, not judge. We are the world, we are Centura College.”
In times of turmoil, it is everyone’s job to lift the world up! Centura Norfolk just wanted to do their part in doing so.
