Centura College Encourages Locals to Explore New Career Opportunities During Their November Community Career Fair
Centura College is giving locals and students another reason to give thanks this November—new career opportunities! The career fair kicks off Thursday, November 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in business attire with résumés in hand.
“With the holidays quickly approaching, we want to get folks working! More than 20 employers will be looking for staff through the busy holiday season, as well as after. This is what we’re all about at Centura College—connecting communities and careers,” said school director, Dale Weiberg.
Featured employers include Verizon, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, Home Depot, Kelly Services, Right at Home, Rescare, South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, Cumulus Radio Corp., Lexington Work Force and more.
Other activities will include campus tours and meet and greets with admissions representatives and financial aid officers. They will also be accepting donations for the local community still affected by recent flooding, such as toiletries, dry goods and anything else that can assist them in their recovery.
Centura College’s Columbia campus is located at 7500 Two Notch Road. For more information about the career fair, call the campus at 803-754-7544.
