Centura College’s Electrical Lineworker program trains you to safely handle high-voltage equipment with confidence, work safely at high altitudes, and keep communities running. As an electrical lineworker, you’ll be out in the field, restoring power, and doing the kind of work people rely on every day.

This 15-week program focuses on learning electrical fundamentals, identifying and minimizing jobsite hazards, and safely performing tasks in the field. You can also practice testing circuits, using specialized equipment, and handling emergency scenarios. Whether using specialized equipment or performing tasks at heights above 32 feet, you can learn the techniques and safety protocols professionals use in the field each day at Centura.

- Lateral positioning and safe ascent/descent techniques

- Pole and structure inspections prior to climbing
- Pole-top rescue procedures (with and without cross arms)
- First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen training

Students enrolling in our Electrical Lineworker program must:

- Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
