Allied Health Degree

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Business is designed for graduates of an Associate Degree to increase their business skills, management and leadership abilities, business technology expertise, and communication and critical thinking skills while earning a Baccalaureate degree in Business. The program provides core courses in business and technology, while allowing students to customize their degree by choosing a concentration in the area related to their career goals.

Allied Health Management Concentration

The Allied Health Management concentration offers a strong core of leadership, technology, and finance courses, while it focuses on advanced coursework in community health and medical office team management. The program also offers a range of general education courses to support students’ written and verbal communication, analytical skills, problem solving, and research ability. This concentration will help health care professionals prepare for advancement and management within their environments.

The healthcare industry is one of the fastest-growing fields, and healthcare professionals with a bachelor’s degree have significant edge in the discipline. Upon successful completion of this concentration, students will be well positioned to earn a management position within doctor offices, hospitals, dental or medical clinics, billing and coding departments, and other divisions of medical facilities.
